Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic family. Jacqueline's father Elroy is a Sri Lankan (Catholic Sinhalese) and her mother, Kim is Malaysian. Her brothers are elder, and two younger ones. Due to the conflict in Sri Lanka that the family chose to move to Bahrain. The scholarship she received allowed her to attend an undergraduate program at the University of Sydney in Sydney Australia following the completion of her education in Bahrain. To further develop her passion for different cultures, languages and languages, she was enrolled at the Berlitz language schools where she was able to master Spanish in addition to improving French and Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed for Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she took home the title in 2006. As a result of winning Miss Sri Lanka in 2006 Padukone was able to begin her work as a TV host. She hosted the show Lanka Business Report which focused on Sri Lankan Business. When she was a teen, Padukone was a participant in numerous championships for national badminton. She eventually gave up her passion for the game when she decided to become a fashion model. Padukone hails from Mangalore and her mother language is Konkani. Padukone is located within the Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi in Karnataka State of India, is where her lineage originates. Prakash Padukone is her father as well as a former badminton pro who has international acclaim. Her mother works as an agent for travel.
